For over 10 years I have been the owner of the ScopeDome company dealing in the production of astronomical domes. For about 20 years I have been dealing with astronomy, both professionally and amateurs.

For many years I have dreamed of moving from Poland to Spain and returning to astronomical observations and research. In the end, I managed to achieve this goal. At the same time, it was possible to build an observatory not only for yourself, but also to create a campus that will be used not only by amateurs but also professional astronomers.

The Otivar Observatory was established in 2020. During design and construction, I use the knowledge gathered at ScopeDome, where I participated, supervised and often designed the construction of nearly 800 observatories from scratch. And I am sure that it will not end with the 800 observatories. I think there are only a few people in the world who can boast such experience.

My goal is to cooperate with professional astronomers from academic universities. But we’re also excited to make our domes available to astro-amateurs. We are open to any cooperation proposals – if you have any questions or ideas – please contact us.
